When we are out and about we tend to turn heads. People point while driving by and some have even taken pictures. At times we feel like a side show. Mostly I/we are very proud, smile, & answer the same questions repeatedly. Here are some of the comments & questions (with responses) we have gotten from people during our outings:
  • "God bless you!"
  • "You've got your hands full"
  • "Does your husband help at all?"  "No. We both help our children"
  • "Are they all the same age?"
  • "I'd hate to be you!" "That's a terrible thing to say"
  • "Are there 3?"
  • "Are the boys & girls identical?"(said while standing in front of the triplet stroller)
  • "Do they sleep through the night?"

  • "It's kinda like octo mom" "Not really. I have 5 less"
  • "Did you do in-vitro?" "That's personal, but no we did not."
  • "Do twins run in your family?" "Yes, they do".
  • "Things will get better & more fun" (from a stranger who has triplets. I live by that comment!)
  • "Are they all boys?" (Opal has a pink bow in her hair)
  • "Good luck with that!"
  • "I'm glad it's not me!" "Me too!"
